Sean Sherman, The Sioux Chef, photographed for TOAST magazine. It’s An honor to have Sean in our Twin Cities community, with Owamni his restaurant (James Beard Best New Resturant in the United States), but also having the non-profits NATIFS and The Indiginous Food Lab. This was the third time I’d had the pleasure to work with Sean, each time learning more about his background and motivation, but also just as two business owners and fathers (just with children at very different stages).
