Musician Lissie left California shortly before the pandemic, deciding to purchase some land in Iowa where she grew up. With a new album coming, I drove the few hours down to her farm along with DP Ben Brewer and stylist Sarah Jean Shervin to experiment and capture a whole range of images, taking advantage of the late summer colors.
