At the beginning of the month I had the opportunity to attend and photograph Auburn University's trip to Pasadena California for the BCS Championship. Staying with the Auburn president's party in Newport Beach, I wanted to capture a candid inside look at attending the game. After large formal dinners Saturday and Sunday nights, Monday morning finally rolled around and it was time for the game. After a brunch buffet, interrupted by the whole cheer squad, and Aubie the Auburn mascot, it was time to board the buses to Pasadena. With six buses in the president's party and another ten buses of alumni and team members' family, the caravan made its way to Pasadena with aid of a full police escort. As we merged onto the 405 freeway, it was amazing to see all traffic stopped with a single police car blocking all lanes of traffic.
