Last week we had a few special guests stop by The Current's studios to prerecord some interview segments. Tuesday we had Slug of Atmosphere swing by the studios to announce an upcoming mini tour with five shows around Minnesota. After his interview with Jill and Steve of the Morning Show, he was gracious to give me a chance to make a few portraits. As I've mentioned, I've gotten a few new film cameras recently, and I took the opportunity to try test out the Crown Graphic 4x5 again using some expired Polaroid film. Slug was definitely interested and extra engaged, finding out a little of the history of the huge old camera. Unfortunately the film did not work on either of the two attempts, but the process of working slowly and very intentionally did pay off. After setting the 4x5 aside, I took just a few digital shots, and loved this the little smirk Slug gave me in this frame. You can see Slug's point-of-view in his Instagram photo here:  http://instagram.com/p/UPi2ZwAiGF/ and find out more about the tour here:  http://blog.thecurrent.org/2013/01/atmosphere-announce-welcome-to-minnesota-t...
