Yesterday morning the first snowflakes of the year fell mixed with rain and wind. The rain stopped by the afternoon, turning to classic damp gray fall weather. It was a perfect setting for an epic fall ride. With a day out of the MPR office, and few looming deadlines, I had a wonderful ride down past Fort Snelling, before looping back across Mendota Bridge to explore northern tip of the River Bottom trails. This is a iPhone snap from the ride. It was a great trail for a cyclocross adventure.
