This month, The Current kicked off its new advertising campaign throughout the Twin Cities. The “More Than Music” campaign can be found on billboards, busses and in print publications. The majority of the billboards are along the new University Avenue Green Line Corridor – which opened just last weekend linking Downtown Minneapolis to Downtown Saint Paul.
This is the first time that The Current has built a campaign that is photography-based. Most of the images featured in the campaign are from concerts and events that I’ve covered for The Current. To round out the campaign, The Current licensed a cycling image from my catalog to highlight the range of activities The Current supports throughout the summer.
“More Than Music” is about the presence The Current has at some of the quintessential Twin Cities summer activities. From Rock the Garden in June, to Music and Movies in the Park, through the finale of a grandstand show at the MN State Fair Labor Day weekend.
