Summer has been in perfect glory the past two weeks, with incredible weather, warm sunny days, with cool comfortable nights. Last weekend I had a chance to drive 100 miles west of the cities to visit two close friends, Nate and Elissa, from college who are living on this gorgeous lake all summer. Leaving the cities for the summer, they are living in a 1920s one room cabin just tucked in the woods off the lake. Nate's figured out incredibly that he is the sixth generation of his family to spend time on the land. It was a great escape to visit for a night: a late night swim, hours talking around a fire, watching the stars hoping catch the meteor shower, and a lazy following morning. Perfect.
